If you’ve never heard of dysgeusia, you’re not alone. I hadn’t either until I experienced it during my pregnancy. (And to be honest, I’m still not sure how to pronounce it lol.) I don’t plan on writing a lot about pregnancy here on the blog, but I have been wanting to share my experience with this particular symptom because I had such a hard time finding any information about it when I was pregnant. Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a new blogger and I’ve been feeling overwhelmed.
There are so many choices, so many decisions, and so many items on my to-do list right now. I purchased a couple of courses in the past few weeks (couldn’t pass up the Black Friday deals!) and I’m struggling to absorb all this new information at once while also creating content for my brand-new blog. I’m questioning all the choices I’ve already made plus worrying about all ones still ahead of me. When I heard about using wool dryer balls as a replacement for fabric softener, my ears perked up. I had stopped using fabric softener and dryer sheets a long time ago, once I learned that they can be skin irritants, and I hadn’t missed them at all. But wool dryer balls do much more than soften laundry, so I knew I had to give them a try. And now I’m hooked!
Why Switch to Wool Dryer Balls?
Because they have so many benefits! For example, wool dryer balls:
- soften clothing without any of the toxic chemicals found in traditional products
- help laundry dry faster (saving you money)
- keep clothing from bunching together and wrinkling in the dryer
- can be used to cut down on static cling
- last for years (saving you even more money)
If you’ve been using traditional fabric softener, you might be wondering how to transition to wool dryer balls, so I thought I’d answer some questions you may have and share some tips with you today.
